MPS are delighted to confirm the sale of the former Players Bar at 240 Broad Street, Birmingham. 

Snobs Broad Street Limited who have purchased the site are adding to their existing operations in the city centre - Henman & Cooper and Theatrix the Colmore Row business district, Sobar in the Arcadian Centre and Snobs Nightclub also on Broad Street. 

Wayne Tracey of Snobs confirmed that the first phase will be a street fronted Irish bar which will go on to create, a garden terrace, roof terrace, Live music spaces and many more vibrant opportunities. All told Snobs will be making an investment of £4 million over the next 24 months and beyond towards the project to draw more customers to the city’s vibrant entertainment scene.

The long leasehold interest has been sold off an asking price of £2.5 million. Paul Newby of Matthew Phillips Surveyors Says “This project will see the renaissance of a well-known former bar and late night venue that was a victim of the seismic effects of Covid-19. It is a fantastic vote of confidence by Wayne and the Snobs’ management team in the Broad Street leisure scene putting Birmingham firmly on the map for locals as well as national and international visitors.”
